Ona Česonienė. Pusiausvyros, raumenų jėgos, raumenų tonuso ir sensomotorikos pokyčiai pacientams po galvos smegenų infarkto taikant kineziterapiją namuose. Bakalauro baigiamasis darbas. Baigiamojo darbo vadovė – Lekt. Rūta Dambrauskienė. Lietuvos sveikatos mokslų universitetas, Medicinos akademija, Slaugos fakultetas, Reabilitacijos klinika. 2. Pacientų patyrusių galvos smegenų infarktą raumenų jėga po namų kineziterapijos padidėjo. 3. Pacientų patyrusių galvos smegenų infarktą raumenų tonusas po namų kineziterapijos nepakito. 4. Pacientų patyrusių galvos smegenų infarktą galūnių sensomotorinė funkcija pažeistoje pusėje pagerėjo.
Ona Česonienė. Changes in balance, muscle strength, muscle tone and sensorimotor function in patients after ischemic stroke following home-based physical therapy. Bachelor’s thesis. Thesis advisor: Lecturer Rūta Dambrauskienė. Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Nursing, Rehabilitation clinic. Kaunas, 2026; 38 p. Aim: To evaluate changes in balance, muscle strength, muscle tone and sensorimotor function in patients after ischemic stroke following home-based physical therapy. Objectives: 1. To assess and compare the balance in patients after ischemic stroke before and after home-based physical therapy. 2. To assess and compare muscle strength in patients after ischemic stroke before and after home-based physical therapy. 3. To assess and compare muscle tone in patients after ischemic stroke before and after home-based physical therapy. 4. To assess and compare the sensorimotor function of the limbs in patients after ischemic stroke before and after home-based physical therapy. Methodology: During the study, balance is assessed using the Berg Balance Scale, muscle strength is assessed using manual muscle testing, muscle tone is assessed using the modified Ashworth Scale and sensorimotor function of the limbs is assessed using the modified Fugl-Meyer test. Study participants: 20 participants over 65 years of age, after ischemic stroke who have been prescribed home-based physiotherapy. The participants received a 3-week rehabilitation program consisting of 3 sessions per week, each session lasting 30 minutes. Conclusions: 1. Balance improved after home-based physiotherapy in patients who had experienced ischemic stroke. 2. Muscle strength increased after home-based physiotherapy in patients who had experienced ischemic stroke. 3. Muscle tone did not change after home-based physiotherapy in patients who had experienced ischemic stroke. 4. Sensorimotor function improved only on the affected side after home-based physiotherapy in patients who had experienced ischemic stroke.
