Ankstyvuoju pooperaciniu laikotarpiu EVLA turėjo geresnių pranašumų dėl komplikacijų, atsigavimo laiko, procedūros trukmės, skausmo, pacientų pasitenkinimo ir ankstesnio grįžimo į darbą. Tačiau per ilgesnį laikotarpį EVLA neturėjo jokio reikšmingo pranašumo, palyginti su įprastine chirurgija, taip pat buvo nustatyta, kad pasikartojimo dažnis buvo didesnis.
Pacientai, kuriems atliekama EVLA, džiaugiasi geresniu gyvenimo būdu iš karto po procedūros. Patogumą ir greitesnį pasveikimą daug renkasi darbingo amžiaus pacientai. Tačiau CS vis dar yra veiksmingas VV gydymo metodas ir parodė geresnį ilgalaikį poveikį. Ateityje turėtų būti ištirtos ir palygintos gydymo galimybės taikant hibridinius metodus.
During the early post-operative period, EVLA had better advantages in terms of complications, recovery time, procedure duration, pain, patient satisfaction, and earlier return to work. But over a longer period of time, EVLA did not exhibit any significant advantage over conventional surgery and was also found to show a higher rate of recurrence in comparison.
Patients undergoing EVLA enjoy better QoL improvements immediately after undergoing the procedure. The convenience and the faster recovery are much preferred by the patients of working age. But CS is still an effective method to treat VV and has shown better long-term effects. Treatment options with hybrid approaches should be studied and compared in the future.
