Therefore, there was a need to establish a university in Lithuania, which took care of academic pedagogical activities and the development of scientific knowledge. The aim of the study: To evaluate the topics of pharmaceutical science in interwar Lithuania. Methods: The authors' publications written between 1920 and 1940 were selected for the study. In this work, the category of scientific works included works that analyzed, reviewed and presented innovations in pharmaceutical science. The study also included publications in which the author did not analyze original research, but presented certain topics in pharmaceutical science. The articles are divided by topics, year of publication and magazines and other individual larger publications in which they have been published. Results: The study divides 559 publications into topics of drug technology, botany, analysis, pharmacotherapy, physiology and pharmacology, microbiology, toxicology, history of pharmacy, and foreign news. Most publications were published by chemists-pharmacists. Conclusions: Dr Benediktas Šiaulis is the only one to publish works in scientific journals. Other pharmacists have published in professional or popular science magazines. Lithuanian pharmacists had little cooperation with foreign colleagues. In the interwar period, Lithuanian pharmacists made little contribution to the development and dissemination of knowledge in European pharmaceutical science.
