Introduction. Recent advancements of CT technology have allowed us to see heart with less cardiac motion artefacts due to their greater temporal and spatial resolution. The purpose is to encourage radiologists to pay more attention to the heart reporting chest CT. Aims and Objectives • To review normal heart anatomy on non gated CT. • To learn about the CT signs of patologies that can be seen on non-ECG gated chest CT. • To talk over the pitfalls. • Sharing common and rare cardiac pathologies from daily practice Conclusions • Radiologist should be familiar with heart anatomy and common pathologies on non-gated CT. • Reporting cardiac findings on routine chest CT could critically change the clinical decisions.
