Abstract
Introduction. The study OSVaLD (A Three-Month Observational Study in Patients Suffering from Recurrent Peripheral Vestibular Vertigo to Assess the Effect of Betahistine 48 mg/day on Quality of Life and Dizziness Symptoms) was conducted in 13 countries. Our aim was to extract Lithuanian country specific data from the study and evaluate the Dizziness Handicap Index (DHI) score changes obtained clevieng the study. Material and methods. Betahistine 48 mg/day (24 mg b.i.d. or 16 mg t.i.d.), was prescribed either as monotherapy or as adjunctive therapy. [...].
