In 1998 an earlier carried out study was continued further in the following three main directions: (1) early in-hospital rehabilitation of the patients and disabled with significantly disturbed biosocial functions due to lesions of the head and spine caused by diseases or traumata, (2) out-hospital rehabilitation of the patients and disabled with significantly disturbed biosocial functions, (3) rehabilitation in the home setting of the elderly disabled citizens of Kaunas.
