Prediccted than in 2030 almost one-third (28..9%) Lithuanian population will be 60 yeras old and older people. As a result, to ensure for older people a independent healthy aging to reduce the negative impact on health, in order to avoid for people with diabetes complications and to improve quality of life, has been put higher in the health policy agenda. This is evident in the establishment of The Healthy Aging Assurance in Lithuanian Programme 2014-2023. The main purpose of this work is to identify diabetes nurse's role on older patients with diabetes learning about the disease and their quality of life. Methods.
