Nustatyta, kad augimo hormonas veikia organizmo augimą, vystymąsi, reprodukcines savybes, produktyvumą. Šio darbo tikslas buvo PGR–RFIP metodu ištirti augimo hormono geno (GH) įvairovės poveikį galvijų reprodukcinėms savybėms. 282 bp galvijų augimo hormono geno fragmentas panaudojus karpymo fermentus suformavo A ir B alelius. Ištyrus 33 buliukų grupę A alelio dažnis buvo 0,682, o B alelio – 0,318. 54, 5 proc. tirtos grupės gyvulių buvo AA genotipo, 27,3 proc. – AB genotipo ir 18,2 proc. BB – genotipo. Galvijų augimo hormono geno B alelis susijęs su geresnėmis bulių reprodukcinėmis savybėmis.
Growth hormone have influence on animal growth, development, reproduction traits and production. The aim of this study was to estimate the influence of gene polymorphism of growth hormone on reproduction traits in bulls by PCR-RFLP method. Digestion with restriction enzyme of 282 bp growth hormone gene region produced two fragments for alleles A and B. After investigation of 33 bulls was estimated, that A allele has 0,682 frequency and B allele – 0,318 frequency. It was shown that 54,5 % of tested animal group had AA genotype, 27,3 % - AB genotipe and 18,2 % - BB genotype, respectively. Bovine growth hormone B allele was associated with improved reproduction traits of bulls.
