The purpose was to prospectively study analysis outcome after resective exclusion of abdominal aortic aneurysms in Kaunas medical university hospital from 1998 September till 2002 january. 41 cases of elective transperitoneal resection of AAA were prospectively reviewed. 24 ruptured, disscting and simultaneous (requiring coronary artery bypassing and AAA resection), performed during the same period, were excluded from study group.
