Pykinimas, vėmimas ir pilvo skausmas nėštumo laikotarpiu gali tapti diagnostiniu iššūkiu pacientėms po chirurginio nutukimo gydymo. Pacientei 15 nėštumo savaitę pasireiškus minėtiems simptomams buvo atlikta laparoskopinė operacija, kurios metu rastas pasmukęs skrandžio žiedas ir per žiedo kanalą susiformavusi skrandžio išvarža.

Nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain during pregnancy present diagnostic challenges in patients with prior bariatric surgery. In this case, at 15 weeks of gestation, the patient presented with these symptoms and laparoscopic surgery was performed revealing a displacement of the gastric band and a gastric hernia through the bands channel.
