Tyrimo tikslas. The aim of the study. To improve from the Hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Department of Family Medicine dysplastic nevi diagnosis, to draw more attention to local features of melanoma and throughout the application of new technology – telemedicine, subject to certain criteria, send to dermatologist consultation for confirmation of the diagnosis and treatment. To form a view of whether people are aware of and use protection from the sun (Ultraviolet rays). Methods. The study was conducted in the Hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Department of Family Medicine LUHS Academy of Family Medicine. To participate in the study, patients were inviteds in two ways: on arrival for consultation with a family doctor, patients were encouraged to check suspicious moles or dysplastic nevi with major criteria (body moles to 50 moles, atypical moles form, previously diagnosed with melanoma), and later – announcements were posted on the family physicians cabinet doors, inviting all willing patients to check moles. The first method was used to select patients with a high risk, but not reaching the patient's willingness to cooperate, we selected announcements. 200 patients were in. Patient were given a risk assessment questionnaire, after it the risk of disturbing skin formation was rated, photographed derivates and throughout telemedicine solved patient requirement for furrther investigation.
