PALANGA CLINIC, LSMU NEUROSCIENCE INSTITUTE<\/h2>\n

The Palanga Clinic of the Institute of Neuroscience is located in the very centre of Palanga, close to the historic City Park and the Baltic Sea. Here, at the clinic of Palanga and in the natural surroundings, modern treatment methods are applied, which increase the body’s resistance to the disease, normalise psycho-physiological processes, metabolism and restore the health so important to everyone.<\/p>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Since 1976<\/strong>, Palanga Clinic has been providing personal healthcare services. The staff of the clinic actively participate in national and international research programmes. All activities of the clinic are carried out in accordance with the license of the personal health care institution issued by LSMU. There is an active research and residency base.<\/p>\n

Palanga Clinic has a Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Department<\/strong>, which provides rehabilitation services to patients with ischemic heart disease, after acute myocardial infarction, cardiac surgery, cardiovascular surgery, and pacemaker implantation.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Stress Diseases Department<\/strong> provides psychiatric day inpatient services. The staff of the department help people who are experiencing life crises, suffering from anxiety, depression, somatoform and adaptation disorders on daily basis. Their recovery process is facilitated in personal and group psychotherapy, art therapy, and progressive muscle relaxation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Outpatient Counselling Department <\/strong>provides secondary level outpatient consultations with a cardiologist, endocrinologist, physical medicine and rehabilitation doctor, psychotherapist, psychiatrist, psychologist, and adult outpatient rehabilitation services. Laboratory and cardiovascular functional diagnostic tests are also performed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together with experienced doctors, the clinic employs medical residents and doctoral students, whose enthusiasm and energy enrich the entire staff of the clinic. <\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n
