class=\"acc-head\">\n                                Student card                            <\/div>\n                                                                            <div class=\"acc-c\">\n                                <div class=\"prose md:prose-lg\">\n                                    \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A student card is a laminated card issued by the University, intended to be worn on clothing during laboratory or practical sessions. This card is not considered a national or international student identification card (LSP\/ISIC). Student cards are produced for all first-year University students without the need for a separate request. To have the card made, you must upload a document-quality photograph to your LSMUSIS account. Each student will be informed personally via their University-provided email once the card has been prepared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Laminated name tags are issued by the Study Information Office of the Study Centre. The student must collect the card in person. Uncollected cards are stored for one year and then destroyed. The student card is valid for the entire duration of the studies, according to the specific study program\u2019s length. Students who terminate their studies before the card\u2019s expiration date must return it to the Study Information Office of the Study Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The student card contains the following information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A photo appropriate to the student&#8217;s age (25 mm x 32 mm) that meets general ID requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">Student&#8217;s name and surname<\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">Academy, faculty<\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">Study programme<\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">Assigned student registration number in the study information system<\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span style=\"color: initial;\">The name and logo of the university<\/span>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Validity period of the card.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Instructions on how to take own photo:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Choose a well-lit room (daylight is best).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set the front camera of your smart device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stand against a white wall (with your back to the wall).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Extend your arms straight out in front of you, holding your smart device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adjust the camera so that your face is centered on the screen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Look directly at the camera with a neutral facial expression and take the photo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For an ID-appropriate photo, DO NOT pose with sunglasses, masks, head coverings (except for religious reasons), etc. Your clothing should be neat and appropriate, such as a shirt, jacket, or plain blouse, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>The student card can be replaced if:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The student changes their name or surname.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The student changes their study programme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are inaccuracies in the records.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The card becomes unfit for use (e.g. torn, worn out).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The validity period has expired.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The card is lost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Student cards <strong>are not replaced<\/strong> if the student is simply dissatisfied with the photo they uploaded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The LSMUSIS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Certificate of Studies <\/strong>\u2013 confirms that you are a student at LSMU.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certificate of Study Duration <\/strong>\u2013 confirms that you are a student at LSMU and specifies your enrolment and expected graduation dates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certificate of Study Funding<\/strong> \u2013 confirms that you are a student at LSMU and that you study in a self-funded place.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certificate of Tuition Fees Paid<\/strong> (you must have made payments) \u2013 confirms that you are a student at LSMU and shows the total amount paid for studies during your entire study period.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certificate of Tuition Payments for VMI <\/strong>(you must have made payments) \u2013 shows the amount paid for studies during specific calendar years, intended for the submission of your tax return to the State Tax Inspectorate (VMI).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certificate of Dormitory Fees Paid<\/strong> (you must have made payments) \u2013 indicates the total amount paid for dormitory accommodation during your entire study period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Please note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>addressee <\/strong>is a <strong>person<\/strong>, <strong>institution<\/strong>, or <strong>company <\/strong>to whom the certificate is intended.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The addressee and the certificate itself <strong>must be in the same language<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You <strong>do not<\/strong> need to <strong>indicate the reason<\/strong> for the certificate, only the addressee.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must indicate <strong>a full and official title of the institution<\/strong>, for example, <em>Migration Department under the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Lithuania<\/em> (for English certificates) or <em>Migracijos departamentui prie Lietuvos Respublikos Vidaus reikal\u0173 ministerijos<\/em> (for Lithuanian certificates).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the addressee is unknown, please use a general addressee: <em>To Whom It May Concern<\/em> (for English certificates) or <em>Pa\u010diam pra\u0161ant<\/em> (for Lithuanian certificates).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When submitting a certificate request, you can choose the language (Lithuanian or English) and, for some certificates, the format \u2013 either an electronic certificate (with an electronic signature) or a paper certificate (with a stamp and original signature). Paper certificates can be collected at the Study Information Office of the Study Centre upon presenting the certificate number (available in LSMUSIS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can also request a <strong>Transcript of Records<\/strong>, i.e. the summary of your grades, through LSMUSIS, prepared by faculty dean\u2019s offices (<strong>only in paper format<\/strong>). The ordered Transcript of Records should be collected from your respective faculty.   <div class=\"acc-c\">\n                                <div class=\"prose md:prose-lg\">\n                                    \n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">International Relations and Study Centre together with representatives of foreign students prepared and coordinated the calendar of religious holidays. On scheduled religious holidays, in-person classes for international students are planned and conducted as usual, <strong>except for all types of assessments<\/strong>. Students have the right not to attend classes scheduled on these days, and <strong>make-up of missed classes is not mandatory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left Annual resit week schedules are published together with the spring semester resit week schedules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students must register for semester resit week according to the instructions of the academic unit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If a debt is not cleared during the semester resit week, it can be cleared during the annual resit week by submitting a request &#8216;Regarding Liquidation of Academic Debts&#8217; in <a href=\"https:\/\/lsmusis.lsmu.lt\/\">LSMUSIS<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For final-year students, the spring semester resit week takes place during the semester, and the annual resit week occurs after the last course\/module grades are published.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If an academic debt is not cleared after the annual resit week, the student must repeat the course or module, paying the corresponding fee.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Repeating the subject (module) is required if:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The academic debt has not been eliminated after the annual resit week (on August).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You have missed more than 25% of the contact hours for the subject (module).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A student may repeat:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One or more subjects (modules).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An entire semester or academic year if no subjects have been completed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Important:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students with the academic debt of less than 12 credits may continue their studies in the next academic year according to an individual schedule, <strong>provided that the knowledge of the study subjects is not essential for higher-year studies.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Repeated studies must be completed within <strong>one year<\/strong>; otherwise, the student <strong>will not be allowed to continue into the next academic year<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Repeating your studies is subject to a fee<\/strong>. The application to repeat the studies must be submitted via the LSMUSIS system by 5 September.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The same subject <strong>may be repeated no more than twice<\/strong>.
