I currently serve as the Chairwoman of the LSMU SMD Internal Medicine and Surgery Club, which is the only international club within SMD. I was also a mentor for two years, and I am now proud to be part of the Student Ambassador Programme.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside my studies, I work at the hospital and regularly take part in extra clinical practice, which helps me gain more hands-on medical experience and develop my clinical skills. I am also very interested in research, as I believe it is an essential part of medical growth and improving patient care. I feel truly grateful for the opportunities LSMU has given me, not only academically, but also through clinical experience, student involvement, leadership, and international representation. The learning environment is supportive, and professors are approachable and engaged, which makes it easier to ask questions and truly learn not just prepare for exams.<\/p>\n<p>Since my second year, I have also been involved in research, where we study the long-term effects of hypertension and how it may affect both the heart and the nervous system. This has helped me grow academically and strengthened my interest in neurology.<\/p>\n<p>Moving to a new country can feel like a big step, but it also opens many opportunities.
