Mazrimaitė V. Ergoterapijos efektyvumas, sergančiųjų II tipo cukriniu diabetu, savarankiškumui ir gyvenimo kokybei Tyrimo tikslas. Nustatyti ergoterapijos efektyvumą asmenų, sergančiųjų II tipo cukriniu diabetu, savarankiškumui ir gyvenimo kokybei. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Įvertinti asmenų, sergančių II tipo cukriniu diabetu, rankų ir kojų funkcijos sutrikimus bei pokytį po ergoterapijos; 2. Nustatyti asmenų, sergančių II tipo cukriniu diabetu, savarankiškumo problemas ir jų pokytį po ergoterapijos. 3. Įvertinti asmenų, sergančių II tipo cukriniu diabetu, gyvenimo kokybę ir jos pokytį po ergoterapijos programos bei sąsajas su komplikacijomis. Metodika: Tyrimas atliktas Kauno diabetikų klube „Insula“. Tyrimo kontingentą sudarė 36 asmenys, sergantys II tipo cukriniu diabetu. Tyrimo metu buvo sudaryta ergoterapijos programa, kuri buvo taikyta po 15 kartų. Išvados: 1. Nustatėme, jog po ergoterapijos, sergantiems II tipo cukriniu diabetu, reikšmingai pagerėjo rankų ir plaštakos raumenų jėga, riešo judesių amplitudė (p<0,05), taip pat pagėrėjo vaikščiojimo funkcija bei kojų paviršiniai ir gilieji jutimai. 2. Nustatyta, jog sergantieji II tipo cukriniu diabetu, daugiausia veiklos problemų turėjo susijusių su asmenine priežiūra, funkciniu judėjimu, visuomeniu gyvenimu. Taip pat po ergoterapijos reikšmingai pagėrėjo tiriamųjų veiklos problemų atlikimo ir pasitenkinimo vertinimas. (p<0,05). 3. Po ergoterapijos taikymo reikšmingai pagerėjo gyvenimo kokybė, kurios pagerėjimui įtakos turėjo tokie veiksniai kaip: veiklos apribojimai dėl fizinės ir emocinės būklės, emocinė savijauta (p<0,05). Taip pat nustatėme, jog patiriamos cukrinio diabeto komplikacijos siejamos su žemesne gyvenimo kokybe.
The purpose of the study. To determine the effectiveness of occupational therapy on independence and quality of life of those who have type two diabetes. The objectives of the study. 1. To evaluate the functional hand and leg disorders of patients that have type two diabetes and the improvements made by them as a result of occupational therapy. 2. To determine the problems that type two diabetes patients face in terms of having independent lifestyles and The improvements made as a result of occupational therapy. 3. To evaluate the quality of life of type two diabetes patients to determine whether occupational therapy made a difference regarding complications and lifestyle independence. Methodology. The study was conducted with the help of the "Insula" diabetes club. 36 type two diabetes patients participated in the study. During the course of the study an Occupational therapy program was developed and was used 15 times. Conclusions. It was determined that following the therapy type two diabetes patients made significant improvements in hand and arm strength as well as in the range of motion of the wrist. The ability to walk improved as well along with leg sensitivity. It was determined that type two diabetes patients experienced the most problems when it came to personal hygiene, functional movements and public life. Following the use of therapy the quality of life saw significant improvement, this was influenced by factors such as activity constraints due to the patient's physical or emotional state. It was also determined that The complications of type two diabetes were largely to do with the patients' poor quality of life.
