Introduction & objectives:To investigate pathological and clinical autcomes according recent Gleason score grading modifications in patients after radical prostatectomy (RP). Material & methods. We used our institution data base for patients who underwent RP since 2001 to 2015 and identified 2165 man. Preoperative and postoperative variables also as new Gleason grading (≤6 –group II, 3+4 -group II, 4+3–group III, 8– group IV and 9-10 – group V) groups were used for analysis. Patients were evaluated for biochemical recurrence using data from institution data base and for overall and cancer specific survival using data from Nation al Cancer Registry. Biochemical free survival (BFS), overall (OS) and cancer specific (CSS) survival were calculated using Kaplan-Meier method. Cox regression was used to identify most significant predictors for BFS, OS and CSS. Results: Mean patient's age was 63.4 (SD±6.54) and mean PSA - 8.3 (SD±6.42). Clinical stage cT1 was detected in 29.9%, cT2 - 59% and cT3 -11.1% of man; pathological stage pT2 was detected in 65.8%, pT3a - 27.1% and pT3b - 7.2% and positive lymph nodes (N1) were detected in 9,3% [...].
