Aim. To evaluate the mandibular ramus (MR) lenght and condylar head changes using radiological evaluation in a group of normal children in an arthritis study. Subjects and methods. The study group consisted of 87 healthy children followed-up for dental crowding at the Institute of Dentistry, University of Oulu, Finland. Study included 324 orthopantomograms (OPGs) taken at 3-5 different timepoints for each patient, with an approximately one year interval. Measn age was 9.3 years (range 5.7-14.0); 50% were males. Dolphin 11.0 software was used to measure the lenght of Mandibular Ramus (MR) on OPGs (Co-Go points).
