Omalizumabas - veiksmingas pridėtinis biologinis vaistas sunkiai alerginei astmai gydyti, nepriklausomai nuo prieš gydymą nustatyto eozinofilų kiekio kraujyje. Gydant omalizumabu mažėja paūmėjimų dažnis, geriamųjų ir įkvepiamųjų gliukokortikoidų dozės. Omalizumabas pasižymi palankiu saugumo profiliu, juo galima gydyti ir vaikus, o poveikis yra ilgalaikis.
Abstract (en)
Omalizumab is effective for the treatment of severe allergic asthma irrespective ofpre-treatment blood eosinophil count. Omalizumab decreases the rate of exacerbation, the dose of systemic and inhaled ghucocorticoids, increases the quality of life. Treatment with omalizumab safe, effectiveness long term, besides is the possibility to treat children.
