Abstract (en)
Objective of the present study was to construct a device for digitalized Hertel measurement of eye protrusion. There was developed the system for the measurement of eye protrusion using Hertel exophthalmometer, video camera and PC. Measurements of proptosis were done in children with thyroid diseases. Digitalization of eye bulging measurements is important for more accurate assessment of proptosis, compare results of measurements and monitor progress of the disease.
