Besinsel Mannan Oligosakkarit ve Organik Asitlerin Hematolojik Kan Parametreleri ve Sazan Balığı Sağlığı Üzerine Etkisi

Abstract

Was to evaluate the effect of commercial dietary prebiotics Agrimos® (MOS) and Organic acid mix (Lumance®) influence on health, blood hematological parameters variability of common carp. This research was done in 2014 October-January using 45 common carps. The tests were done in closed recirculating system with three pools with 15 common carp in each. One group was feeding using MOS, another using organic acid mix (OAM) aqnd one control group. The blood samplings were taken from each group carp for assessment blood hematological parameters [red blood cell (RBC), white blood cell (WBC), hematocrit (PCV), MCV. MCH and MCHC] and preparing blood smear. Blood was collected by puncturing the caudal vein with needle into heparinized vacuum tubes. Carp blood examinations have shown that the use of MOS and OAM as feed additives can affect its hematological parameters and further investigation in this study could be continued. The RBC, PCV and WBC values in the feedings with MOS and OAM fish significantly increased (P<0.05) compared to the control group. Also the hematological indicated that MCV, MCH and MCHC were significantly higher (P<0.05) during the experiment in the treated groups when compared to the control. After summarising the results it was concluded that in order to improve health and productivity of common carp it is appropriate to supplement its feed by adding 2kg/t of commercial probiotic Agrimos® and 2kg/t organic acid mixture Lumance®.
