Aim of the research was to introduce additional physical therapy exercises effects of basketballers when they are performing the vertical jump height, carried out with a hand gesture. The study was made in Lithuania "Žalgiris" training center. There were examined 12 man basketballers who regularly train 7-8 times a week for 1.5 hours. It is known that muscle maturity, in their functional capacity assessment is an important milestone for the planning of athletic training workloads, through health promotion programs. According to research carried out by J. Youd (2005), passive and active knee extension test for measuring the length of the hind thigh muscle showed excellent reliability performance. [...].
