Both dental caries and dental fluorosis can be described as a result of disturbed mineralization in enamel, with similar clinical features of the lesions appearing on a tooth surface. The aim of the study was to describe the pattern of dental caries as well as prevalence and distribution of dental fluorosis in populations of 12-15-yrolds with life-long exposure to ‘optimal’ (1.0 ppm, “High- F”) and low (0.2 ppm, “Low-F”) levels ...
