Comparative analysis of prescriptions to elderly patients with arterial hypertension in an outpatient setting urban and rural areas

Abstract

Objectives. A comparative analysis of prescribing to elderly patients with arterial hypertension in the outpatient setting, Almaty and Almaty region. Materials and methods. The study was conducted on the basis of clinic No. 8 of Almaty and Central Regional Hospital Raiymbek district of Almaty region (within the scientific and technical program "Development of the model (the program) to provide anti-aging active longevity of the elderly Kazakhstan". 350 patients were selected by random sampling, taking into account the inclusion criteria. Patients were divided into age categories with a ten-step. An analysis of outpatients and questioning of patients were conducted. The severity of hypertension, number of comorbidities, number of medicines taken at the same time per day and at one time on the average and maximally, number of patients were marked side effects and the level of compliance were taken into account.
