Aim of the study Electrical thermal injuries are rare for pediatric patients. The severity of damage masks the principal electricity way by its physics causing the defects and open dot wounds through its way. Usually soft tissues are deeply injured and long its development begins not straight away. Visual damage can be just above the much more important problems like bone, articular, growth plate nerves unreturned. The aim of this case report is to present pediatric electric hands and fingers injuries, management and early/late outcomes. Case description A kindergarten child drove a nail into an electrical outlet, causing second- and third-degree burns to the hands and fingers around the interphalangeal joints and palmar surfaces. After necrectomy, the skin defect of the third finger was reconstructed with a full-thickness skin graft and the donor site was sutured. Conclusions The child's is still on follow-up (at the moment 5 yr follow up). Long term follow-up of these patients is necessary to identify and treat late outcomes.
