Introduction. Practical training for healtcare providers is important factor influencing prehospital treatment performance, however less evidences are known about direct effect of training on treatment tactics on daily practice. Aim of the study was to estimate practical training influence on treatment procedures used by ambulance health care providers in Lithuania. Methods: Two groups of Ambulance medical personnel from 46 ambulance services have been asked to fill-in standardized questionnaire. 80 prehospital doctors and nurses took part in two weeks duration training based on Basic Life Support (BLS), Advance Life Support (ALS) and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) courses. Medics from control group (n=100) did not take part in these courses.
