The aim of this work was developing a portable wireless vital signals monitor (WVS monitor) and software for self-control of patients with cardiovascular diseases and sportsmen during training. The developed WVS monitor consists of wireless electrocardiosignals (ECG) and motion signals recording and transmitting device. The prototype of device includes 3 channel ECG recorder with microcontroller C8051F411, 3-axis accelerometer MMA-7260Q and Bluetooth module Blue Giga WT11-A-A1 for transmitting data to PC. The developed software performs in real time signals pre-processing, recognition of ECG wave forms, measurement of ECG parameters, estimation the breathing frequency from ECG data, the evaluation of patient position (standing, lying, sitting) and patient activity from the motion signals. Finally, the software makes a main decision about person state changes using Moore and Mealy automata algorithm. According to received analysis results the software creates special signs (green, yellow, or red) in the PC screen. In case of appearances the dangerous situation the software sends beep sound for monitoring person and the results of analysis to medical team for consultation. The testing of developed WVS monitor was performed on 14 healthy persons and sportsmen. For testing of ECG analysis program ECG records with 4775 RR intervals were used. A program perfectly performed detection of all 4775 QRS complexes and measurement of duration, but the measurements of ST segment amplitude were measured erroneously 163 cases from 4775 (3.4%), and it caused the false alarm signals. For testing program of evaluation physical activity sportsmen was made comparison the results obtained during two motion tasks. In the first task sportsmen performed 6 series jumps with progressively graded increase and progressively graded decrease in height of jumping task. In the second task sportsmen performed physical activity (running, jumping or slow walking) during the 6 minutes. There we.
