Chronic shoulder instability is very difficult clinical situation and treatment is very complex and difficult. Open or arthroscopic Latarjet procedure is an alternative option to arthroscopic Bankart procedure to treat this condition and make shoulder joint stable and functional. Arthroscopic shoulder instability results presented in this lecture. Purpose: To present clinical results after the arthroscopic Latarjet procedure. Methods: 82 arthroscopic Latarjet procedures were performed by one experienced surgeon from Sports trauma and arthroscopy unit of Kaunas clinics of Lithuanian university hospital of health sciences between the 2002-2005 year. Patients and clinical results were evaluated 12 months after the arthro procedures. Results and conclusions: Bony Bankart and Hill-Sachs defects were detected in all cases and clinical evaluation by Constant score has shown 90% of excellent and good results after these procedures 12 month after the procedures. Complication rates were 7 % of all cases. There were non-recurrent shoulder instability cases after these procedures.
