Introduction: The aim of this work was to design a semi-solid preparation with the water extract of Lingberry leaves, for hyperpigmentation treatment. The antioxidant activity, pH value, centrifugation, visual analysis and textural properties were studied in four selected compositions of the preparation. Methods: After preparing lingberry leaves water extract (1:10), the quantity of arbutin measured using HPLC method, after that semi solid emulsion systems were produced using Unguator 2100. Stability was verified by centrifuging samples for 5 min. at 3000 rpm speed. Texture studies were performed using Texture Analyzer. Extract and semisolid dosage form were tested spectrophotometrically for antioxidant activity (AA) using 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl antioxidant assay. Microsoft Office Excel 2007 software was used for the statistical analysis. Results: In the extract of Lingonberry leaves 4.1± 0.2 % of arbutin was detected, according to this, four compositions of semi solid emulsion systems with 33% of extract were, these compositions remained stable after centrifugation. After producing the preparation, it was determined pH range is 6.9442 – 6.9246, extrusion force from 677.37g to 959.65g and AA range from 63.76 ± 2.39 % to 74.85± 1.59 %. In the control sample, with the same amount of arbutin, 39.64 % AA was detected. Conducted stability tests have shown that the change in pH value during six months was statistically insignificant, force extrusion change and AA change was statistically significant. Conclusion: Based on the research the following composition of the semisolid dosage for hyperpigmentation chosen (by percentage): Sunflower seed oil 24.0 Castor oil 5.0 Cocoa butter 5.0 Coconut oil 14.0 Beeswax 10.0 Lingonberry leaves water extract 33.0 Span 80 8.0 Phenoxyethanol 1.0. Measured antioxidant activity was significantly higher, when comparing with the control preparation with arbutin, however stability testing showed that the preparations
