Introduction. Polytrauma ia a term used for severely injured patients with two or more injuries to physical regions or organ systems, one of which may be life threatening. Trauma is the leading cause of death for people aged 18-44 years and third in all age groups. Aim of the study: The aim of this study was to analyse the urological lesions in patients with polytrauma. Materials and methods: Retrospective study including 29 cases of patients with multiple trauma treated between 2010 and 2015 in the Clinical Urology Department of Medical university of Silesia. The variables studied were: age, sex, patients condition, etiology, type of the injury and days of hospitalization. [...].
