Abstract
Background: The study was designed to evaluate the alternation of heart complexity in men after myocardial infarction during two relaxation techniques - Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) and Mindfulness Body Scan Meditation (MBSM). The study evaluated the peculiarities of the dynamics situations (patients with anxiety symptoms and patients without them). The data of this study adequately characterizes the cardiovascular system (CVS) functional state during the relaxation techniques. The study determined that the conjunction of the ECG parameters reveals new and clinicaly important information, which is not accessible by analysing the initial ECG signals in the traditional way. The following methods were used in the study: interview, HAD scale, electrocardiography, two relaxation techniques: PMR and MBSM, the model of integral health evaluation, matrix analysis methods, statistical mathematical methods. Procedure. 30 hospitalized men (15 with anxiety symptoms and 15 without them) who had had a percutaneous coronary intervention with stent implantation after acute myocardial infarction participated in two practical sessions in which they practiced MBSM on the second day after post-MI stenting and PMR on the third day after post-MI stenting.
