Introduction.Type 2 diabetes mellitus presentsa substantial challenge in primary health care because it requires proper management of risk factors and patient knowledge to help avoid a significant number of complications. Institutions that provide primary health care services attempt to create and provide value to patients to ease the progress of an illness and improve their quality of life.Recently, researchers have been studying the dimensions of perceived value that are important for a customer’s satisfaction and behavioural intentions, as well as the pursuit of a competitive advantage for an institution [1].Behavioural intentions are defined as an individual’s intended behaviour in a specific situation [2]. The definition of value and its dimensions is a topic of discussion in the scientific literature. The emotional value of a service is identified as the emotionsthat exist regarding a specific service [3]. The functional value of a service is the set of specific features of a service that benefits the consumer or solvesa problem for them[4]. The social value of a service is created by enabling the consumer to directly communicate, observe, and participate in the service provision process [5].Satisfaction is defined as the expectations of a consumer regarding services and their assessment of the process of providing services [6]. An informed consent form was obtained from the respondents before filling out the questionnaire. The questionnaires were completed by respondents after a consultation with their family doctor. Statistical data analysis was performed using the IBM SPSS 2 [...].
