Introduction. A lot of controversies and lack of scientific background gave us an idea to test one of the most popular hologram bracelets available on the market. Manufactures claim that holograms are having some specific frequency. It has number of positive effects on the human body and performance. Holograms may increase balance, strength, flexibility, endurance, concentration and reduce stress, tension, jet lag, swelling and motion sickness. The aim of the research was to study the effect of hologram bracelets on the level of physical fitness, functional movement quality and dynamic stability of the young healthy subjects. Subjects: 10 females and 21 male were tested. Healthy, physical active subjects with no clinical signs of diseases have been tested. Professional sportsmen and very physical active (very fit) persons were excluded from the research. Research type and details: double blind pilot study. Research was done in the Institute of Sports of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. Each subject was tested 2 times - wearing wristband with 2 holograms A (active) and wearing wristband with 2 holograms B (not active). One week interval was held between the testing in order to avoid the effect of previous testing. Testator and tested person weren’t able to know what kind of wristband (active or not) he or she is wearing during the testing. Wristband differed only in color. One set of the holograms was programmed (active), another – not. Which holograms were active which not was known after the experiment. After the tests the elastic wristbands were tied off. Holograms were provided by the manufacture of the holograms. Methods and measurements.
