Aim of the study. To evaluate functional movements, health status and level of fatigue of professional female basketball players in relation with the level excellence. Subjects and methods. The study involved 102 professional Lithuanian female basketball league players. Participants completed pre-participation health questionnaire with questions about general fatigue, injuries during preseason. Y balance test was performed to assess player's dynamic balance. Functional movement screen (FMS) was done in order to assess the quality of fundamental movement patterns for presumably identifying an individual's physical limitations or asymmetries. Y balance test and functional movement screen were used as tools to identify risk on non-contact musculoskeletal injury. Results. FMS assessment of the total evaluation showed that neither team had increased the degree of risk in the preseason. The best result was achieved in "Sudūva" team (17,4±1,6 score), the lowest - "Utena" team. [...].
