Analysis of low frequency variations of the local magnetic field in the central region of Lithuania

Abstract

In this paper we perform spectral analysis for local magnetic field in Lithuania as well as other 3 locations on the globe. The aim of the research is to find any unique measures for Lithuania's magnetic field in comparison to other locations. Here we limit our scope of the research to comparative analysis while also preprocessing of the data for future investigations. Although the context has several possible important implications. Statistical data of human wellness in Lithuania is making concern if compared to neighbor countries. Human organism is constantly affected by surrounding fields, magnetic field included. This gives importance for researc h as performed in this paper. Introduction. Interconnection between the variations of Earth's and universe's magnetic fields and the properties of human oeganism is a well known fact. although the existence of this phenomenon is known for a long time, such scientific investigations are just in the starting phase. RElatively not long ago it was noticed that human heart is the most sensitive organ in a human body. A herat reacts to the surrounding magnetic field in a variety of ways some of them being quite surprising. Despite the existence of these well known facts there are no accurate or more less adequate mathematical, physical, cardiovascular description of these phenomena. Currently carrying the research on the subjects mentioned implied more detail investigation on the magnetic field which surrounds us. One of the initiators of such phenomena is the research group at the Heartmath Institute (USA). The research group has a control of six high sensitivity magnetometers (of pico Tesla) positioned in different places on the globe. One of those magnetometers is situated in central Lithuania. Its presence is a result of the scientific collaboration between Lithuanian's (Kaunas) cardiologists and Heartmath Institute which started five years ago.
