Amiodarone, a widely used and highly efficacious antiarrhythmic drug, has been associated with a long list of side effects. A pulmonary toxicity was for the first time reported in 1980. It occurs in 0.05-20% of treated patients and is one of the more serious complications seen with amiodarone. It presents with cough, dyspnea, pulmonary infiltrates, weight loss, and occasionally with fever. [...].
