Abstract (en)
A precise assessment of health-related physical fitness is an important effort to facilitate health-related-exercise counselling. We used in Kaunas University of Medicine for the assessment of health-related fitness a battery of Eurofit physical fitness tests. An alysis of testing results has shown that some Eurofit tests are of low of reliability and validity in assessing health-related fitness. Therefore it was decided to changes some tests, e.g. for assessing muscle endurance and for assessment of flexibility. [...].
