Šiame darbe buvo nustatytas šunų ragenos storis in vivo ir in vitro, enukleavus akies obuolį. Ragenos storis matuotas ultragarsiniu pachimetru 5 taškuose (centriniame, viršutiniame, apatiniame, vidiniame ir išoriniame periferiniuose taškuose), Po akies obuolio enukleacijos stebėta ragenos stono kitimo dinamika, Nustatyta, kad ploniausia ragena yra centriniame taške, storiausia - periferiniame temporaliniame taške. Ragenos storis kinta po gyvulio mirties: pirmomis minutėmis ragena plonėja, paskui storėja.
The purpose of our study was to measure the normal corneal thickness of dogs in vivo and to determine the changes of corneal thickness in vitro by means of ultrasonic pachymeter. Corneal thickness was measured at 5 sites (central, upper peripheral, lower peripheral, temporal peripheral and nasal peripheral) in each cornea of each animal eye in vivo and 15, 35, 55, 75, 95 minutes and 24 hours after death. According to the data obtained, cornea thickness decreased after death, but during 15 minutes began to increase, after 35 minutes the corneal thickness was similar to that in vivo, and 24 hours later it increased significantly.
