Local Earth's magnetic field fluctuations' interconnections with human physical wellbeing

Abstract

At the middle of sixties of last century, German physicist Schuman found and started investigating the features of magnetic field fluctuations that occur in the cavity between the surface of the Earth and the ionosphere. At this time, this phenomenon is called Schumann resonances (SR). The resonances that have been identified are low frequency electromagnetic fluctuations which are closely related to human physiologic processes. Investigations of interactions between human and his surrounding were started. Numerous studies have investigated the correlations between incidents of myocardial infarctionsd, high blood pressure and disturbances in the Earth magnetic field. It has become clear that interactions between Earth SR and our physiology is especially strong and that SR can modulate Electroencephalogram activity. This means that the SR can have a direct influence on our sympathetic and parasympathetic activity in our body, and that many processes taking place in the human organisms are more or less influenced by Earth magnetic field fluctuations. Одним из первых флуктуации магнитного поля между поверхностью Земли и ионосферой в прошлом веке начал изучать физик В.О. Шуман. После многочисленных исследований, было замечено, что магнитное поле имеет нескольео характерных частот колебаний: 7.88, 14.3, 20.8, 27.3 и 33.8 Гц, которые были названы резонансами Шумана (РШ). Резонансы Шумана являются фундаментальным свойством магнитного поля нашей планеты. Магнитное поле планеты, как один из фундаментальных феноменов, оказывает значительное влияние на населяющих её живых организмов, в том числе и на людей. Ряд научных исследований убедительно свидетельствует о существовании связи между магнитным полем Земли и физиологическими особенностями человека. Резонансы Шумана могут быть истрактованы как свойство окружающего нас магнитного поля, напрямую связанное с натуральным фоном магнитного поля Земли, из чего следует, что РШ могут оказывать воздействие на человеческий организм, например, на симпатическую и парасимпатическую системы.
