The system architecture consists of three levels: the lowest level encompasses a wireless Mobile Patient Recorder (MPR), the second level is a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA), and the third level - Medical Monitoring Centre (MMC). The MPR (hardware and software) allows collection and simple data analysis of a monitored person such as: ECG, respiration intensity, pulsoximetry (SpO2) and movement activity. PDA executes on-line decision-making processes, generates alarms, transmits data to MMC. MMC analyzes data on-line and off-line, including historic decisions, generates alerts, statements and statistical reports at specified intervals.

Focus on prevention and early detection of disease or optimal maintenance of chronic conditions promise to augmented existing health care systems that are mostly structured and optimized for reacting to crisis and managing illness. In these latter years more and more studies showed credibly that during obsolescence processes the complexity of functional state decreases, and herewith the person potential of adaptation decreases also. Therefore the creation and adaptation for use in practice of new methods for evaluation of complexity was aim of this work. It seems likely that early assessment of complexity changes will enable to start earlier usage of preventive means with intention to preclude the manifestation of various disorders in human organism. Another possibility for performing of preventive task could be estimation of value of individual physical activity, necessary for every person and their use in practice with aim to decrease the level of risk for overdosage of physical activity, and on the contrary - having too small physical activity and ineffective impact on person's health. Kaunas : Technologija, 2009., 2009-10-29, p. 7-10 : pav.The main aim of this study work was to develop the system of ECG and accelerometer signals registration synchronous of two sportsmen and to test the system in the task of quantitative evaluation of interpersonal connections. The developed VitaActiv system consists of two identical signal recorders and works in online mode by sending the acquired signals wirelessly to computer and calculating ECG parameters. The parameters for evaluation interpersonal connection are calculated in offline mode. The preliminary testing results show that it is possible to detect interpersonal relations betwen two sportsmen using the proposed matrix analysis based parameter.

Bologna : Tecnoprint snc, 2008., 2008-09-14, p. 273, no. PC1.Human organism adaptation to physical load peculiarities and opportunities is an actual task of physiology, sports and clinical medicine. The solution of this task is tight-knit to human functional state evaluation. During bicycle ergometry work we can evaluate the functionality of the human organism. The main task of this work was to find the complexity measure for ECG RR interval, which could integrally and simple evaluate organism reaction to physical load. There were used the standard stress test method of provocative incremental bicycle ergometry work. For evaluation of cardiovascular system reactions the ECG analysis system “Kaunas-Load”, developed at the Institute of Cardiology was used. The investigated contingent consisted of 15 asymptomatic women (20-45 years old), participating in aerobics exercise program. We used RR intervals (ms) during every cardio-cycle. We divided data sequences to the same size intervals and calculated averages and variances (for each investigative individually). We hypothesized that the algebraic form of the dependence variance(average) is the power function. All our data satisfied this hypothesis (p<0, 05). The relation between averages and variances is called allometric. We used the logarithmic function for the lining the dependence between averages and variances. The slope of logarithmic dependence we called the allometric complexity measure. According to B J West, we hypothesized, that if the slope is negative, the complexity of the process is low and organism reaction to physical load is inadequate, if positive – the complexity is high. The higher value of complexity means better organism adaptation to physical load. For all tested women RR interval allometric complexity was positive (p<0, 05). We showed that RR interval allometric complexity for young women (20-30 years old, 8 women) is significant higher. It means, that young women organism adaptation to physical load is better and all organism systems interac.
7 Wireless vital signals monitor for patients with cardiovascular diseases and sportsmenItem type:Publication, conference proceedings[2008][P1a][M001,N001][4]; ; ; ;Poderys, Jonas ;Navickas, Zenonas; ; ; ; Computers in cardiology. Washington : IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), 2008, vol. 35., 2008-09-14, p. 993-996The wireless vital signals monitoring system has been developed. It aids to monitor patients with cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and sportsmen. The system consists of wireless electrocardiogram (ECG) and motion signals recording and transmitting device to personal computer and software for signal analysis and evaluation of human functional state. The feedback and warning means has been developed. The new method for assessment of interpersonal and inter parameter concatenation during monitoring of vital signals has been developed. Assessment of inter parameter concatenation permitted to reveal some new features of heart functionality when ECG monitoring was performed during percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) and physical stress examination.

PC2.The aim of this work was developing a portable wireless vital signals monitor (WVS monitor) and software for self-control of patients with cardiovascular diseases and sportsmen during training. The developed WVS monitor consists of wireless electrocardiosignals (ECG) and motion signals recording and transmitting device. The prototype of device includes 3 channel ECG recorder with microcontroller C8051F411, 3-axis accelerometer MMA-7260Q and Bluetooth module Blue Giga WT11-A-A1 for transmitting data to PC. The developed software performs in real time signals pre-processing, recognition of ECG wave forms, measurement of ECG parameters, estimation the breathing frequency from ECG data, the evaluation of patient position (standing, lying, sitting) and patient activity from the motion signals. Finally, the software makes a main decision about person state changes using Moore and Mealy automata algorithm. According to received analysis results the software creates special signs (green, yellow, or red) in the PC screen. In case of appearances the dangerous situation the software sends beep sound for monitoring person and the results of analysis to medical team for consultation. The testing of developed WVS monitor was performed on 14 healthy persons and sportsmen. For testing of ECG analysis program ECG records with 4775 RR intervals were used. A program perfectly performed detection of all 4775 QRS complexes and measurement of duration, but the measurements of ST segment amplitude were measured erroneously 163 cases from 4775 (3.4%), and it caused the false alarm signals. For testing program of evaluation physical activity sportsmen was made comparison the results obtained during two motion tasks. In the first task sportsmen performed 6 series jumps with progressively graded increase and progressively graded decrease in height of jumping task. In the second task sportsmen performed physical activity (running, jumping or slow walking) during the 6 minutes. There we.
