Abstract

I have spent more than fifteen years working on the molecular biology of brain tumors, searching for biomarkers to detect and prognosticate brain tumor development, recurrence, and resistance to treatment. I was involved in epigenetic research, like DNA methylation, and interested in epigenetic players like noncoding RNAs which regulate gene expression through additional functional layers. I'm excited now to further work on RNA modifications in brain tumors and in stem cells which promote tumor progression. However, I'm looking for new exciting projects, collaborations, and opportunities in R&D.
