Tyrimo tikslas – išanalizuoti ginčytinų profesinių ligų atvejų (GPLA) pokyčius ir struktūrą Lietuvoje per 1998-2008 metų laikotarpį. Medžiaga ir metodai. Duomenys surinkti iš Centrinės darbo medicinos ekspertų komisijos (CDMEK) archyve esančių bylų. Nustatytas per tiriamą laikotarpį kasmet užregistruotų GPLA skaičius. Apskaičiuotas išnagrinėtų GPLA pasiskirstymas pagal pareiškėją, kreipimosi į CDMEK priežastis, darbuotojo profesiją, lytį, amžių ir gyvenamąją vietą, įmonės ekonominės veiklos rūšį bei CDMEK išvadą. Nustatytas GPLA, kai profesinė liga buvo patvirtinta, pasiskirstymas pagal profesinės ligos diagnozę bei priežastį. Analizė atlikta programa MICROSOFT EXEL 2003. Rezultatai ir išvados. Daugiausia GPLA (132) užregistruota 2006 m. Į CDMEK kreipėsi fiziniai asmenys (45 proc.), Valstybinio socialinio draudimo fondo valdyba, darbdaviai. Fiziniai asmenys dažniausiai nesutiko su nenustatyta, o juridiniai asmenys – su nustatyta profesinės ligos diagnoze (ėmis). Tarp išnagrinėtų GPLA vyrai sudarė 60,8 proc., moterys – 39,2 proc. Daugiausia GPLA (43 proc.) teko 60 metų ir vyresniems asmenims. Daugiausia GPLA teko įrenginių, mašinų operatoriams bei surinkėjams (40,4 proc.). Dominavo dirbantieji pramonėje (45 proc.). 57,4 proc. išnagrinėtų GPLA CDMEK profesinės ligos diagnozę (es) patvirtino, 42,6 proc. GPLA – nepatvirtino. Patvirtintos profesinės kaulų-raumenų (34,3 proc.), nervų sistemų, ausies ir kitos ligos, kurių priežastys buvo fizikiniai (41,1 proc.), ergonominiai ir kiti veiksniai.
