Introduction Facial basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is a prevalent skin malignancy with various treatment modalities, among which local excision and Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) are frequently employed. Current epidemiological data underscore the escalating incidence of basal cell carcinoma, particularly on the face, where the aesthetic considerations pose unique challenges in therapeutic decision-making.
