We cordially invite you to the 3rd International Scientific Conference “Animal Assisted Therapy: Impact on Human Health and Future Prospects” which will be held in the hybrid mode (in-person and online) October 16-17, 2025.

Conference venue Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Faculty of Animal sciences, Tilžės 18, LT-47181 Kaunas.

There is no Conference registration fee.

The Conference will address the following research topics:

  • Effects on human health
  • Animal Welfare
  • Ethical Aspects

The conference is specifically aimed at professionals in animal sciences, complementary and alternative healthcare, as well as in medicine, rehabilitation, public health, biology, veterinary medicine, social work, psychology, and education. The researchers are kindly invited to register for the event.

Please submit oral (presentation duration 12 min. + 3 min. for discussion) and/or poster presentation abstracts by 1st of September 2025 by email conferences@lsmu.lt

The abstracts will be published in VETERINARIJA ir ZOOTECHNIKA scientific journal (ISSN 1392-2130 Print; ISSN 2669-2511 Online).

The Conference is organised by Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Faculty of Animal Sciences (LSMU), Institute of Animal Science (LSMU) together with the Division of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences.
