Public lecture by Bryan Allan, University of Edinburgh lecturer: “Setting up a Simulated Patient Programme”

The public lecture on November 18 will present the key stages of developing a simulated patient programme. The lecturer will discuss how to clearly define learning objectives, assess the need for using simulated patients, and plan advertising, recruitment, and participant selection. The session will also cover the training of simulated patients and teaching staff, approaches to providing feedback, and principles of quality assurance.
