Research Innovation Centre

The Research and Innovation Centre is the dedicated centre at the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, bringing together activities in main areas: research, doctoral education and internationalisation; project development and funding; and innovation, commercialisation and entrepreneurship.

The Centre’s responsibilities across these areas include:

• Integrated planning, implementation and policy shaping of the research and development (R&D) activities
• Innovation development, promotion of commercialisation of R&D outcomes, and knowledge and technology transfer (K&TT)
• Promotion of entrepreneurship and partnerships with the industry and public sector
• Organisation and coordination of project activities, including their development and oversight
• Activities to secure funding and ensure its effective and appropriate use and administration for the purposes outlined above
