LSMU is actively building a community of patrons committed to supporting education and research. Contributions from University sponsorship fund awards and scholarships for the most talented students, support researchers and promising research projects, and help bring initiatives of the LSMU community to life. This support makes a significant contribution to fostering a healthy, well-educated society and strengthening the country.

Research-based health technologies and innovation are one of the University’s strategic development priorities.

The University works closely with industry and businesses across Lithuania, undertaking joint research and business projects, bringing new technologies into production and translating innovations into practice.

Collaboration is at the heart of this work, bringing together the complementary strengths of the partners: the University’s knowledge, expertise and capacity to develop and apply health technologies, and the business sector’s ability to identify and unlock opportunities for the future, embrace innovation and turn ideas into reality.

Since 2025, pursuant to the Order of the Rector of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences “On the Approval of the List of Sponsors of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and the Granting of Sponsor Status”, individuals and organisations making a significant contribution to the fulfilment of the University’s mission may be granted the following honorary status:
