The First Prayer Room Opened at LSMU
The first all-faith Prayer Room was opened at the Veterinary Academy of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences. It was established in an aim to encourage cultural equality and to respond to the needs of the international community.
The space dedicated to contemplation, prayer and meditation will be open to all LSMU students, lecturers and other members of the community. They are invited to use the symbols of their faith, books and texts in the Prayer Room.
Of course, the space should be used according to one’s own faith without disturbing others. All LSMU Prayer Room rules are provided here.
The Prayer Room will always be open to all. It can be found at Tilžės g. 18 (4th building, 1st floor). In the future it is planned to establish similar rooms in other parts of the University’s campus.
