ACADEMIC PASTORAL CARE
Pastoral Care – an activity that creates, renews, and deepens a person’s experience of faith, spiritual values, and relationships within the community and with God.
Supporting the spiritual well-being of the university community and assisting in resolving questions related to the integration of religious practices. Organising activities that help university students from different cultures and religions integrate more easily into the university community. Initiating and coordinating activities that create opportunities for dialogue, community building, and cooperation among different cultures and religions.
We introduce the practices of different religions and provide information about worship schedules.
Academic Pastoral Care – a space for dialogue between the university and the Church, mutual support in service, and collaboration between faith and science in academic and religious environments. Every LSMU student, lecturer, and staff member is invited to hear the Word of God, embrace the Gospel, and live their daily life with faith, hope, and love after encountering Christ.
We invite the LSMU community to celebrate liturgy together, especially the Holy Eucharist. We organise lectures and discussions on relevant topics, offer advice on important questions, and accompany individuals on their journey of faith and knowledge as they prepare for the sacraments. We encourage participation in Christian and public celebrations as well as cultural events.
