This Cookie Policy sets out the rules for the management of cookies used on the website lsmu.lt (hereinafter referred to as the Website).

This Cookie Policy has been developed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), and with the Law on Electronic Communications of the Republic of Lithuania.

V. Transfer of personal data to third countries

We use the services of our partners Google, Microsoft and Vimeo, which means that cookie data is transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Community, including the United States of America (USA).

All cookies used on the Website (other than technical (strictly necessary) cookies) require your consent. By accepting cookies, you are deemed to have consented to the transfer of data to third countries as required by Article 49(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Please also note that on 10 July 2023, the European Commission adopted a decision concerning the transfer of personal data from the EU to the US. Pursuant to this Decision, to transfer personal data to the US, the data controller receiving the personal data must be certified under the scheme. It should be noted that the partners are certified under this scheme.
