EIT Health
EIT Health is a leading European health innovation network, uniting over 120 partners and supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Its aim is to help people live longer and healthier lives, fostering technological innovations and solutions that transform healthcare.
The network connects research, business, and education – from idea to market. This is a community where innovators, doctors, patients, experts, and investors work together to make healthcare more advanced and people-centred. Through our activities, we have already supported thousands of startups, attracted billions in investment, introduced dozens of innovative health solutions to the market, and trained tens of thousands of professionals.
In Lithuania, EIT Health activities are coordinated by the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (LSMU) together with its partner, Kaunas University of Technology (KTU). Since 2018, the EIT Health Lithuania Centre has been helping to build a community where doctors, patients, innovators, experts, and investors work together to make healthcare more accessible, effective, and people-focused.
